Tom lives in London. He is an award-winning playwright, and a writer of short stories, and films. He is a BAFTA winner and has an MBE for services to the creative industries.
Tom wrote his first play the same age William Shakespeare wrote his last, and there the similarity ends. POOL, won the Jack Theatre’s new writing prize and was produced there. He went on to write the verbatim play ABOUT LAST NIGHT on the 2017 general election, which was performed at the Arcola.
His plays have been produced across London. He wrote book and lyrics for the musical Lydia, with the tv series under option.
