Tom Harvey is a writer and producer. He’s also Chair of hip-hop dance theatre company BirdGang and on the Board of Trustees for the Peter Marlow Foundation, building a new photography gallery in Dungeness.

Tom was MD of multi-award winning interactive content company XPT, which won a BAFTA for interactive drama, Online Caroline.  Tom ran the Edinburgh International Television Festival and was Commissions and Strategy Exec on BBC2. Tom was founder and CEO of Northern Film & Media, where he was awarded an MBE for services to the creative industries, and the SohoCreate festival, which won the Best Small Event Award.

 

Tom is a mental-health advocate and a foodbank volunteer, he has worked in film and television, interactive media and theatre. He’s run festivals, produced films, set up and run investment funds, started companies and once earned his living for a year as a mime.
